A study of estuary wave forms, video, Lance Eggleton, 2020
Water and waves have been core to the aesthetic of our work. The watery patterns stirred up by the muddy banks of the Severn. The movement of the water gave rise to much discussion about the nature of waves. A fair amount of footage was captured, but the edited highlights can be seen here. The swirling liquid was quite hypnotic; unlike the rush of a river or the swell of seawater, it moved almost in slow motion, causing thick ripples and plateaus that moved and changed on the face of the water.
