The moon necklace idea came out of the work of the textile and ceramic hanging currently in production which includes more than one moon image. Although nothing like it has been found archeologically, beads were definitely part of the costumes Neolithic people wore. Lan and Deek have both connected with magic in the moonlight and it seemed the perfect idea that these necklaces, were like love tokens, both about the moon, but also with heart shapes and Celtic style symbols., both sentimental and magical in their intention. The colours of each necklace reflect each’s costume colour palette, reflecting sun and backed earth, and moon and water.
